Five Things: Entertainment Announced for Old Home Days

Five things to know for Tuesday, June 19.

Weather: Let the warm up begin. Morning low clouds and fog then partly sunny, warmer and more humid. High of 85. If this is not hot enough for you, just wait until Wednesday, when record heat is possible.

A job well done: National Pollinator Week encourages everyone to “Bee” good to pollinators. Learn what you can do to help the birds and the bees (the bats, butterflies and beetles too!) by visiting the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service website www.fws.gov/pollinators/. According to the site, these hard-working animals help pollinate over 75 percent of our flowering plants, and nearly 75 percent of our crops.
