Medieval Jesters, Zelda Fitgerald and a Slight Chance of Showers

Good morning! Today is Wednesday, July 24, 2013.

1. Alex the Jester at Sears Park:  This Wednesday the East Hampton Parks and Rec Department and the East Hampton Public Library are helping the town celebrate all that is summer and summer reading season with a performance of “daring stunts, comedy acts, and amazing sight gags” by Alex the Jester. The show is open to all and will begin at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Sears Park.

2. Adult Book DiscussionJoin East Hampton Library staff member Phil Carr for a discussion about Nancy Milford’s classic biography of Zelda Fitgerald, wife of famed “Great Gatsby” author F. Scott Fitzgerald.  The discussion will start at 6:30 p.m. at the library.
