Guided Hike at Meshomasic State Forest

On Saturday, November 23rd at 10 am State Representative Melissa Ziobron and State Senator Art Linares are hosting a guided hike at Meshomasic State Forest in East Hampton. Hikers will meet at 10am at the commuter lot located at RT 66 and RT 16 in East Hampton before driving to the Forest.

The hike will be guided by Meshomasic Hiking Club President Michael DeFranzo who will share his knowledge of the forest and lead hikers to various points of interest included cobalt mines and civilian conservation corps camps. The hike will last approximately an hour and a half. Hikers should wear good shoes and socks, preferably hiking boots, and bring their own water and snacks.  All are welcome to attend and dogs are welcome on a leash.
