National Solar Tour—Connecticut Chapter: CEFIA LAUNCHING “GOSOLARCT” CAMPAIGN

The Clean Energy Finance Investment Authority (CEFIA) encourages the citizens of Connecticut to learn more and participate in an important upcoming energy event, the National Solar Tour.

The American Solar Energy Society has organized nationwide tour for October 5th. Residents throughout Connecticut will be taking part in this tour, which is the largest grassroots solar event in the nation.

This tour provides the opportunity to informally tour (at no cost) innovative green homes and buildings, and see how solar energy can be used efficiently. The tour hopes to inspire people across the nation to make sustainable energy choices that help lower costs, support energy independence, protect against power outages, and reduce carbon emissions.

This is a chance to see new and innovative technologies – in Connecticut – that will benefit the environment and help be a part of the solution to our nation’s energy problems. If you are considering solar energy, please consider visiting a business or resident participating in National Solar Day to learn more. Please join us in this important energy initiative!

Additionally, www.gosolarct.com is being launched by CEFIA to provide a convenient, easy to use, and comprehensive solar energy marketing campaign.  The GOSOLARCT.com website will provide support for homeowners in Connecticut interested in learning more about the benefits and opportunities related to solar energy.  The GOSOLARCT campaign incorporates an analysis tool developed by Geostellar, which will allow homeowners to easily determine if their home is well suited for solar energy.
