Annual Portland Books for the Beach Sale Starts Today!
The Friends of the Portland Library Books for the Beach Sale is taking place through July 12.
Today is the first day of the annual Books for the Beach sale at the Portland Library!
Residents looking to stock up on their summer reading can head to the Portland Library from now until July 12 to purchase their fill of adult and children’s books.
Paperbacks cost 50 cents and hardcovers are $1. The library hours are:

· Monday through Wednesday, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
· Thursday, 12 p.m. to 8 p.m.
