Brownstone Park, Portland Historical Society to Celebrate CT Open House Day

Both locations will be offering perks — like reduced or free admission — this Saturday, June 8.

Museums, parks and businesses across Connecticut will be celebrating CT Open House Day this Saturday, June 8, including a pair of locations right here in Portland.

The Ruth Callander House Museum and Brownstone Park will be offering perks to those who visit.

Free admission from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. Exhibits feature the importance of farming, quarrying and shipbuilding of the town’s history. New exhibit, People of Portland, is about river crossing and celebrating the 75th anniversary of the opening of the Arrigoni Bridge with special refreshments.
