This hike will be guided by our own John Leshane, founder of the Meshomasic Hiking Club. He has decades of experience and loves to share his knowledge! It will be a 3-4 mile hike and will take a little less than two hours.

“The mission of this hike is two-fold: Encouraging residents to participate in physical activity and also to showcase a great state park right in our back yard in Portland,” said Rep. Carpino.

Carpino is sponsoring this hike as part of the 100th anniversary of Connecticut's state parks and their contribution to the quality of life for state residents.
