Miss USA Erin Brady Returning to Portland Next Week

The woman who went from Portland High School graduate to Miss USA winner is coming home to visit!

Erin Brady, the 25-year-old reigning Miss USA, graduated Portland High School with honors eight years ago, and town officials are hoping the former resident will stop in to her former alma mater for a summer visit.

The details of Brady’s visit aren’t finalized yet, First Selectwoman Susan S. Branfield told the Middletown Press.

Brady, who currently lives and works in Glastonbury, got the crown — and a year in a New York apartment — after telling judges that she agreed with the U.S. Supreme Court's decision to uphold widespread DNA testing. She is a graduate of Central Connecticut State University in New Britain.
