2011 Spring Fling Wii Bowling Winners

The East Hampton Senior Center held its second annual competition

The East Hampton Senior Center held its second annual competition of Wii Bowling for 2011.

Eleven teams played off, consisting of East Hampton seniors, while others enjoyed rooting them on. Participating teams won gift certificates and other items. Light refreshments and lunch were served.

The finalists pictured from left to right: second-place winners - Topsey Turvey’s, Dave Johnson and Gail Lutton with a score of 210. First-place winner: The Roy’s, Armand and Julia with a score of 221. Third-place winners: The Husky’s, Scotty and Linda Demers with a score of 191.

All seniors, 55 and older, are welcome to partake in the Wii Bowling Tournaments. The League sign up sheet is on Senior Center activity board and participants can hone their skills for the next Tournament, which will be held in July.

Wii Bowling is just one of the dozens of activities held monthly at the East Hampton Senior Center.  The center encourages seniors to join, whether to enjoy some form of exercise, go on a shopping excursion, enjoy a hot lunch at the center or sit and socialize with others.
