Patch stopped by the 100th celebration to capture the sights and sounds of country fun.

Much has changed during the 100 years of the quintessential New England fair which kicks off these agricultural celebrations — but the pleasures of fried food, live country music, machinery might and livestock judging and showcasing remains quite the same.

Patch stopped by the Haddam Neck Fair Saturday, which kicks off the season on Labor Day weekend, and spent a few hours taking in the sights and sounds — and sharing them here.
