Annual 5K road race a success.

August 16, 2011

Dear Editor,

On Friday August 12th, Portland Parks and Recreation Commission sponsored the 8th annual “Come on Over” road-race. With the help of the Parks and Recreation Commission, Ralph Zampano, Steve Steinkamp, Ellen Kelley, Chris Donahue, Eric Peterson, Hilary Phelps and Dolores Bates, and Parks and Recreation Staff, and many volunteers it was another successful run. Very special thanks to Debbie Rooth, David Kraszewski, and Robert Edwards for the help with making the event a success. This year’s event had 108 runners.
