Annual Belltown Spring Sprint is May 4

The race benefits Project Graduation for East Hampton High School.

The Belltown Spring Sprint will be held Saturday, May 4, at East Hampton High School, 15 North Maple St.  The Spring Sprint is a 5K race that includes a 1 mile Kids Run to benefit East Hampton High School Project Graduation.

Now in its seventh year, last year’s race had 150 runners registered for the 5K and over 30 kids in the kids race.

The kids race begins at 9:15 a.m. and the 5K at 10 a.m. The race starts and ends at the high school and winds through local streets and around a section of the shoreline of Lake Pocotopaug.

There will be free t-shirts for runners registered by April 27th, medals for all kids race participants, awards for the top male and female runners and age group categories, food, music and for the first time this year a vendor fair with selections from local business.
