East Hampton's Miss USA Will Turn South Windsor Teal in September

Miss USA, Erin Brady will visit South Windsor on Sunday, September 1, 2013, to speak on her platform of breast and ovarian cancer awareness at the kick-off event for Turn the Towns Teal South Windsor.

Erin Brady, the reigning Miss USA and a Connecticut native, is scheduled to speak on her platform of breast and ovarian cancer awareness as part of South Windsor's Turn "Turn the Towns Teal" kickoff event. 

The event is being organized locally by the South Windsor Junior Women’s Club, who have partnered with Turn The Towns Teal to generate awareness for ovarian cancer by displaying teal ribbons on homes and building throughout town for the month of September, which which also happens to be ovarian cancer awareness month. 

The kickoff event, where Brady will speak, is scheduled for 1 p.m. on Sept. 1, 2013, at the Promenade Shops at Evergreen Walk, in the Village Green near Pinkberry. More information about the event can be found on the Turn the Towns Teal South Windsor Facebook page.
