Great Day for a Parade in Portland

Residents turn out to celebrate Memorial Day.

Main Street in Portland was the place to be on Sunday to celebrate the Memorial Day weekend. Onlookers lined both sides of the street as marchers filed past, from military members to marching bands from the high school and middle school. First Selectwoman Susan Bransfield and State Representative Christie Carpino were there, too. Afterward, residents gathered at Memorial Park behind town hall for a ceremony. Of course, there were lots of other marchers, so check out our photo gallery and video, and if you have photos or video of your own to share, please feel free to upload them!
