In Case You Missed It: East Hampton Student Kyle Randall Honored by Sen. Art Linares at Capitol

East Hampton High School senior Kyle Randall was among several outstanding Connecticut students to be presented with a scholarship by the Connecticut Water Works Association and the Connecticut Section of the American Water Works Association at a May 7 event at the State Capitol complex to celebrate National Drinking Water Week.

The event, attended by state water, health and environmental professionals, awarded the scholarships to help ensure that, in the words of President John F. Kennedy, "the torch is passed to a new generation." Sen. Art Linares, R-Westbrook, was on hand to celebrate the award with Randall. Linares represents the 33rd State Senate District, which includes East Hampton.
