Jorgensen on the UConn Campus Offers Quality Entertainment

Each week, we’ll tell you about one great idea to give you a much deserved break, and make your life a little easier, maybe a whole lot easier.

Want to get away from it all for a night?  Check out the schedule of the Jorgensen Center for the Performing Arts (www.jorgensen.uconn.edu) located on the campus of the University of Connecticut in Storrs.  A nice alternative to traveling into the city, the Jorgensen offers a wide range of entertainment, from theatre to music to dance, something to suit almost anyone who enjoys live performances.  Upcoming highlights include Benise:  The Spanish Guitar, March 18-19, hailed as the Latin equivalent of Riverdance; and well known contemporary dance troupe Momix: Botanica April 15-16.  Tickets can be purchased online or by calling the box office 860-486-4226.  Time to try something new!
