Junior Girl Scouts Meet Miss Connecticut

Miss Connecticut 2011, Morgan Amarone of Hamden, posed with the Junior Girl Scouts of East Hampton Troop 60636 during her visit to the troop’s regular meeting on Dec. 2. Miss Amarone read from her book, Madison’s Journey, and facilitated a lively discussion with the girls about community service and helping others. Miss Amarone attended the meeting at the invitation of Junior Girl Scout Vanessa Naughton, fourth from the right. The two met while both were marching in the 2011 East Hampton Old Home Day Parade.
