Rides Available For Veterans Through St. Luke's

Vets4Vets programs provides rides for veterans to medical appointments

 

The Vets4Vets free ride program is now available to veterans in eight Middlesex County towns, the Hartford Courant is reporting. 

St. Luke's Eldercare Services will facilitate rides to medical appointments for veterans thanks to the donation of a 2009 Dodge Caravan from Wallingford's Executive Auto Group, the article says.

According to The Courant, transportation will available from Cromwell, Durham, East Haddam, Haddam, East Hampton, Middlefield, Portland and Middletown to Veterans Administration/Connecticut Healthcare hospitals in Newington and West Haven.

Veterans can sign up for a ride by calling (860) 347-5661.
