Whiz Kids' Accomplishment: Children from the MOMS Club of Portland helped collect food and pack backpacks for hungry children in the Hartford area.

Whiz Kids' Key to Awesomeness: Children from the MOMS Club of Portland helped collect food for a Hands on Hartford service project dedicated to helping children in poverty who would otherwise go hungry on the weekends. Hands on Hartford provides services to individuals in need and provides volunteer opportunities for groups formed within the Greater Hartford area. The children collected kid-friendly foods including Goldfish, soup, applesauce and tuna fish. They helped pack backpacks with these foods to last the hungry children throughout the weekend.
