Where to Take the Kids During April Break?

I have an idea, but need more!

OK. I could write - or try to write - a story about all the great local places to take the kids while they are home for their April break this week, but instead I'm going to try something different.

I am going to let you write the story.

That's right. Chances are you have a favorite place to take the kids when they're off from school so I thought it would be a cool idea to let you share it with  everyone. Whether indoors or outdoors, close by or a destination that's more a day trip, share a place you and the kids like to go or an activity you like to do together so that others in need of a suggestion can take advantage!

All you have to do is comment below. Nothing fancy. Just name the place or activity and include a sentence on why you like it.

I'll start. I have a teen daughter so the mall is always a logical choice. Problem is, the weather is supposed to be great this week. So, the Wrentham Village Outlets in Wrentham, Mass., is a possibility. Lots of shops in an outdoor mall-like setting and some decent places to eat. Plus, if you leave enough time and have a sports fan in your group, Patriots Place is just a few miles down the road, which has even more shops. A little far but an easy drive. If you haven't been there, try it some day - with or without a teen.

Well, that's one idea, but we need more!
