Colchester Civic Orchestra and Choir Rehearsal

Enjoy some music making with us!

The Colchester Civic Orchestra and Choir start rehearsals on September 6th.

The CCO is a non-profit organization open to all music lovers. Started in 2002, we have members from towns all over Connecticut. With members ranging in age from 10 to 70, from students to professional music teachers, the CCO is a true community group!

The choir rehearses, 6 pm to 7:30 pm, at the William J. Johnston Middle School, in the choir room (to the right of the gym/middle entrance). We are in need of all voice parts. This is an amateur community group, that sings a variety of music types--popular, classical, folk, sacred, Broadway. Auditions are not required! We take adult voices; high school students are welcome.

The orchestra rehearses, 7:30 pm to 9 pm, in the William J. Johnston Middle School band room (to the left of the gym entrance). We welcome all instruments! Auditions are not required to join, but may be used to determine seating.
