She's a Grand Ol' Flag – But Just How Big Is She?

During a recent visit to McDermott Auto Group, I found out some interesting facts about the huge flag flying above their dealership.

If you've driven through East Haven on I-95, there's no doubt you've noticed the American flag flying above the McDermott Auto Group's dealership. As I was waiting in the lobby, I was watching the flag flapping in the wind and quite amazed at the size of it.

I not only found out the size of the flag, but some other interesting information as well.

So, how big would you guess the flag is? How many times a year do you think the flag has to be replaced?

While this flag serves as a subtle advertising ploy and business locator, I am still always pleased to see it flying over my town. Keep up the good work McDermott. The bigger the better.
I love riding past and looking out the window and seeing the symbol of our country flying high,...Whenever I see our flag I am that much more thankful to all the men and women who have so bravely served our country through out the years and have given us the precious freedoms that we all as Americans are free to enjoy.

I love seeing this flag at McDermott Chevrolet. It is so nice to have so large a flag to celebrate the wonderful things we have in our Country and show support for our Veterans and all the Armed Forces currently serving and the sacrifices they & their Families have made while helping to keep our freedom!!!!!!!!!!!
