Small and Home-Based Business Event

Sponsored by Chamber of Commerce Micro-Business Council.

Owners of small and home-based businesses in East Hampton are invited to attend a networking event hosted by 70 Main Coffee House and Art Gallery on Thursday from 5 to 7 p.m.

MAD Communications is sponsoring the event as a member of the Middlesex County Chamber of Commerce Micro-Business Council. A micro-business is defined as having fewer than 10 employees. The Micro-Business Council is designed to support these businesses by promoting the sharing of information through social and professional networking opportunities. This event is free of charge and is open to all who would like to meet and greet fellow micro-business owners and learn more about the Middlesex Chamber. Please join us for complimentary appetizers, great company and great conversation.

“Micro-businesses are a vital part East Hampton’s economic fabric,” Mary Ann Dostaler, owner of MAD Communications and former chairwoman of the Economic Development Commission, said in a press release. “Whether your business has a store front or is home-based, as owners we can support and learn from each other to strengthen our local economy.”
