Becker’s Diamonds and Fine Jewelry hosted a Grand Opening Gala at its new estate jewelry store in Colchester on June 4th. Colchester First Selectman Stan Soby assisted with the ribbon cutting that also benefitted the local youth and social services and the Colchester Food Bank.

“Over the last 35 years in business, we have grown to multiple locations but have always maintained small town values, so we feel right at home already in Colchester,” said Owner Paul Becker.  “Becker’s will maintain its long-established reputation of community involvement by supporting various charities and youth organizations in town.”

The cocktail party included champagne, refreshments and appetizers. A highlight of the evening was a drawing for a stunning princess-cut 3-stone pendant in 14k white gold on an 18” chain from Becker’s estate jewelry collection retailed at $1,000.

The new Becker’s store is located at 95 Linwood Avenue in front of Stop & Shop.  The store features 14 display cases with primarily estate jewelry that continues to gain popularity for its unique style and value price. The boutique will also buy jewelry from customers, so there will be a constantly changing selection of truly one-of-a-kind pieces.

“Shopping for estate jewelry is like a treasure hunt,” said store manager Vanessa Grano. We look forward to getting to know our customers and are happy to take requests for specific pieces they might be looking for.”

Becker’s Diamonds and Fine Jewelry has served the Connecticut community by offering exceptional values on its merchandise, while building trust and integrity since 1978.  In 2001, the organization became a Charter Member of Leading Jewelers of the World. In addition to its flagship store in West Hartford Center, Becker’s also has 13 gold-buying boutiques across the state.  Learn more by visiting www.beckers.com
