Connecticut's Oldest Sycamore Maple Found In East Hampton"

    Ed Richardson (center), a volunteer with the Connecticut Notable Tree Committee, lead a "Tree Walk" in the Village of East Hampton on June 2, 2013 . Richardson showed the walkers a sycamore maple tree on Main Street that is the oldest in Connecticut.

The walk was organized by the Chatham Historical Society as part of the “Explore East Hampton” monthly series program. The next walk will be at the Pine Brook Preserve on Saturday, July 6 at 10 am.
