East Hampton PD: Drug Take-Back Initiative Program Is April 26


On Saturday, April 26th, 2014, the East Hampton Police 
Department and Local Prevention Committee will be participating 
with the Drug Enforcement Agency, (DEA) in a nationwide Take-Back Initiative of pharmaceutical substances and other medications.

This national initiative will provide the public an opportunity to surrender pharmaceutical substances and other medications to law enforcement for destruction.

The drop off location will be in the upper parking lot of 
the East Hampton Town Hall, 20 East High Street, East 
Hampton from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.
  
The drop off medications can be made anonymously with no questions asked.

The last Take-Back Initiative was very successful with over 60 pounds of medication turned in for destruction.
