Belltown Garden Club Provides Wreaths to Library

Group also makes garland to decorate Village Center gazebo.

 

The East Hampton Belltown Garden Club presented wreaths, handmade with live greens, to the East Hampton Public Library for display during the holidays.

The wreaths adorn the bell tower on the street side and the front entrance to the library. The Belltown Garden Club members also made fresh garland with a variety of greens from local gardens to decorate the gazebo in the village center.

Each year, the Belltown Garden Club holds a workshop in November to make the wreaths, garland or swags for civic projects in East Hampton. Prospective members are always welcome to attend garden club events and activities.

The mission of the Belltown Garden Club is to interest and activity in all forms of gardening and, when possible, to use this knowledge to the betterment of the community. The East Hampton Belltown Garden Club is a member of the Federated Garden Clubs of CT, Inc. and National Garden Clubs, Inc.
