Daily Five: Daylight Saving Time is This Weekend
Also, East Hampton's VFW is holding a public breakfast this weekend.
- The Veterans of Foreigh Wars Post 5095 in East Hampton and The Ladies Auxiliary, located at 20 North Maple St., are hosting a public breakfast on Sunday March 10, from 8- 11:00 a.m. The cost is $6 and the breakfast will include eggs, pancakes, bacon, sausage, home fries, toast, coffee, juice and fruit.
- Because of the impending snowstorm, noted Civil War artist and author Don Troiani has postponed his lecture, which was scheduled for Thursday, March 7, at the New England Civil War Museum in Vernon.
- State Sen. Art Linares, R-Westbrook, and State Rep. Melissa Ziobron, R-East Haddam, will hold a Town Hall Meeting at the East Hampton Library on Thursday, March 21, from 6-7:30 p.m. During the public meeting legislators will take questions and discuss the state budget.
