East Hampton Police Arrest Two Men
Investigation leads to arrest of Mansfield man for first-degree sexual assault.
East Hampton Police have announced the arrests of two individuals earlier this week.
Police arrested Scott Marvel, 29, of 23 Nowlet Road in Mansfield on Tuesday. Marvel was charged with first-degree sexual assault, first-degree unlawful restraint and third-degree assault.
According to police, Marvel’s arrest is the result of a three-month investigation by Officer Jason Wishart, wherein a victim reported to have been sexually assaulted by Marvel.

Marvel was held on $150,000 court-ordered bond and presented for arraignment on Tuesday.
East Hampton Police also arrested James Tunstall, 26, of 32 Edstrom Road in Marlborough on Monday. Tunstall was charged with public indecency and disorderly conduct after the investigation of a report that he was masturbating in public on Oct. 7. Acccording to police, the incident occurred on Old Marlborough Road at Day Point Road.

Tunstall was processed and released on a $2,500 non-surety bond and is scheduled for arraignment on Nov. 15.
