What's Closed

  • Town Halls— Strictly speaking, Monday is known as Washington's Birthday (though the country's first president was born Feb. 22), and has only become known as "Presidents' Day" more recently to also ecompass Abraham Lincon's Feb. 12 birthday (in Connecticut, a state holiday).
  • East Hampton Library is closed for Presidents' Day, as is the Portland Library.
  • Post Offices—There will be no mail delivered or sent Monday.
  • East Hamton Public Schools—No school Monday due to the holiday, as well as Portland schools.
