Severe Weather Possible for Thursday

The National Weather Service has issued a Hazardous Weather Outlook.

 

The National Weather Service has issued a Hazardous Weather Outlook for Middlesex County on Thursday.

According to the NWS, there is a moderate risk for severe thunderstorms across the area during the afternoon and evening. The main threat being from damaging winds and localized heavy rainfall.

There also is a chance for a round of thunderstorms in the morning.

The forecast, according to wfsb.com, is for mostly cloudy skies and turning more humid with showers and thunderstorms likely. Some storms could produce damaging winds and hail, heavy rainfall and frequent lightning. The high is expected to be 88 inland. The chance for thunderstorms will extend well into Thursday night.

A chance of thunderstorms will remain in the forecast for the next few days.
