- Rich Klotzbier, East Hampton’s Emergency Management Director, is looking for additional volunteers to join the East Hampton Citizen Emergency Response Team.
- There was a dramatic rescue, with assistance from an East Hampton horse group, of a draft horse in Durham on Tuesday night.
- The East Hampton Public Library will host a crafts class on how to make an indoor snowman on Saturday at 11 a.m. The class is for kids ages 4-8 and parent participation is required.
- The Portland Senior Center will host a seniors’ yoga class on Wednesday, at 9 a.m., in the Senior Center on Waverly Avenue. The cost is $10.
- The knitting group “Nifty Knitters” will meet Saturday at the Portland Public Library from 10 a.m. to noon.
