The Daily Five: East Hampton Kindergarten Registration

- The East Hampton Town Council meets tonight at 6:30 p.m. in the East Hampton Public Library. You can view the council’s agenda here.
- State Rep. Christine Carpino and State Sen. Art Linares will host a joint Town Hall meeting at 7 tonight at the Portland Senior Center. Both legislators represent Portland.
- East Hampton’s Memorial Elementary School is currently accepting applications for all children who are eligible to enter kindergarten this fall. To be eligible, children must be 5 years old on or before Jan. 1, 2014. You can download an application form here.
- The Portland Board of Education is holding a special meeting today at 6 p.m. to discuss school security issues for Portland schools. The meeting will take place in the Portland High School Media Center.
- The East Hampton Soccer Club is currently accepting registrations for its spring session. The league is open to all children in pre-kindergarten through grade 8.
