The Daily Five: Feeling Dramatic? Epoch Arts Has Opened Registration For Spring Classes

Also, there's a new book discussion talk this week at the Portland Public Library.

 

  1. State Sen. Art Linares, R-Westbrook, and Rep. Melissa Ziobron, R-East Haddam will hold a Town Hall Meeting at the East Hampton Public Library on Thursday, March 21, from 6-7:30 p.m. The event is open to the public and the two legislators will take questions from residents and discuss the state budget.
  2. Registration is now open for Epoch Arts’ classes theater, film, art, music and much more. Classes at the East Hampton theater company are open to students up to the 12th grade. Classes begin March 16, run for 8 weeks and end with a special presentation.
  3. The East Hampton Public Library will host the program Footprint Friday! Magic Tree House for 2nd and 3rd graders on March 15 from 3:30-4:30 p.m. It will include activities and crafts based on the Magic Tree House series.
  4. The Portland Public Library will host a book discussion on Thursday, from 6:30-8 p.m. This week’s discussion will focus on “State of Wonder” by Ann Patchett.
