Alpaca Open Farm Day

On September 28th, alpaca breeders from across the United States and Canada will invite the public to come to their farm or ranch to meet their alpacas and learn more about these inquisitive, unique animals, the luxury fiber they produce, and why the alpaca business is perfect for environmentally conscious individuals!. From 11 amto 3 pm, New England Alpacaswill welcome guests to join them for many activities including visiting with the alpacas, Q&A with staff, watch fiber processing demonstrations, children's activities, and refreshments all FREE! The farm store filled with alpaca products for the entire family will also be open. New England Alpacas is located at 14 Bethke Rd. in Killingworth CT. Signs will be posted on Rts. 148 and 81 directing visitors to the farm.  www.nealpacas.com
