Connecticut Hunting & Fishing Appreciation Day

The CT Department of Energy & Environmental Protection
and the Friends of Sessions Woods are sponsoring Connecticut Hunting &
Fishing Appreciation Day on September 28, 2013, from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM, at
the Sessions Woods Wildlife Management Area in Burlington. This FREE family
event features kid’s crafts & activities; live snake presentation by
Riverside Reptiles; field dog demonstrations; .22 rifle, BB gun, & archery
ranges; fly casting pools; cowboy action shooting; and the chance to speak with DEEP biologists and representatives from
outdoor and hunting/fishing organizations. Free shuttle bus service is
available from Lewis Mills High School off of Route 4 in Burlington. Go to www.ct.gov/deep/HuntFishDay to
