Belltown Winter Wonderland Silent Auction

The East Hampton Village
Lions and Belltown Garden Clubs invite the public to view their silent auction
holiday items at the East Hampton Public Library. Over 40 items will be on
display and up for silent bids through Saturday December 8th.  Many handsomely decorated swags, wreaths,
centerpieces, and gift baskets are available.  Proceeds from this community-wide fund raiser
will go to the East Hampton Food and Fuel Banks.

The “Bells” theme was
encouraged this year to lend support to our beloved Bevin Bell Company in light
of the devastating fire last May.
Despite their setback, Bevin Bells donated 2 dozen bells, sleigh bells
and “845” red bells, to incorporate into the silent auction items.

The event culminates on Saturday,
December 8th in a Holiday Party at the Community Room, adjacent to
the Library from 1 to 5 p.m. hosted by the Village Lions.  At this time, individuals can
make final bids on their favorite holiday decoration items while enjoying
refreshments and music.  The clubs will
announce winning bidders at 4 p.m.  and
will contact winners to arrange for item pick-up.

President Linda Brogan
adds:  “Let’s light-up East Hampton for a
common cause, to benefit those in need in our community during this time of
giving.”

Last year over $1500 was
raised for the East Hampton Food and Fuel banks through this club project.

I'm not real sure what the take away is. It may be me, but I haven't seen a lot of in-depthRead More reporting on either side of the issue. It appears that we will vote and the result will determine what our future holds. I am willing to read whatever is available to become an informed voter. Please advise where the truth in reporting is and where the public information can be accessed.
