Please join us for the 4th Annual “Live & Silent Goods and Service Auction” at the First Church of Portland on Oct. 20, 2012. This event is always a great way to start your holiday shopping or get a task done that you just keep putting off.
Some of the favorites returning this year include a delivery of mulch for the garden, a fuel oil delivery, a home baked pie every month for a year, gift certificates for a local jewelry store, a handmade baby quilt, items painted by a local artist, and Ivoryton theater tickets.
Homemade refreshments are available at 6 p.m. as you preview the catalog and review the silent auction items. The auction starts promptly at 6:30 p.m. Admission is just $5 for adults and includes refreshments and your own bidding number. Children under 12 yrs admitted free and child care/entertainment is included in the admission. Payments are accepted via cash, check, Visa, or MasterCard.
