Readers' Theater for Children at the Portland Library

Children in grades 2-4 are invited to join in this fun program at the Portland Library.  Readers' Theater is an exciting way for children to enjoy literature.  It provides them with the opportunity to enjoy meaningful participation and increased interest in reading along with overall confidence.  We will read "The Baker's Dozen" retold by Aaron Shepard together, discuss it, make props and in the final 15 minutes of the session, the children will perform the story for their friends, parents and caregivers.

Registration is required for this program.
