6th Annual Winter Wonderland Silent Auction
The East Hampton Village Lions and Belltown Garden Club are again partnering to create the 6th Annual Winter Wonderland Silent Auction. The Clubs are inviting all civic organizations or any interested individuals to donate a decorated wreath, tree, centerpiece, gift basket or other holiday-themed item for the auction. Cash donations and gift certificates are also welcomed.
Proceeds from this fund raiser will support the East Hampton Food and Fuel Bank as well as other community organizations and projects. Last year, nearly $1300 was raised. A list of organizations and projects that have benefitted from the clubs is posted at the event.
All donated items will be displayed at the East Hampton Public Library, 105 Main Street, from November 22nd thru December 6th, 2014. The event culminates on Saturday, December6th , when
from 1 to 4:00 p.m. The Village Lions and Belltown Garden Club will host a Holiday Party in the Community Room, adjacent to the Library. At that time, individuals can post final bids on their favorite holiday items while enjoying refreshments and music. The clubs will announce winning bidders by 4:30 p.m. and will contact winners to arrange for item pick-up or delivery.
