Bingo! It's Monday at the Senior Center

There is a certain rhythm to the days at the senior center.  I come in a little earlier than necessary almost every morning to try and ease into my day quietly.  Most mornings activities are underway by 9:30 and the sounds of calisthenics or sewing machines let me know what day of the week it is.  Today is Monday and if I wasn't sure about that the cries of Bingo from down the hall would remind me. Tuesday afternoons are marked by the sound of tap shoes and other weekday afternoons are punctuated by the sound of card games or Scrabble being played. While some people listen to the radio or prefer quiet to do their work, I find the regularity of the various background noises here provide a soothing soundtrack to my work day.  I hope you are so lucky.
