Thomas J. McCabe, Former East Hampton Teacher, Will be Laid to Rest on Friday
A funeral mass will be held for the former high school athletic director Friday morning at St. Patrick's Church in East Hampton.
A large group of family, friends, former players and students of Thomas J. McCabe, Rocky Hill High School's athletic director and coordinator of student activities, are expected to attend a funeral mass in East Hampton on Friday morning.
The mass is scheduled for 10 a.m. at McCabe will be buried in his family's plot in St. Mary Cemetery in New Britain following the mass.

McCabe, who passed away Monday morning after battling a serious illness for several months, was an administrator and physical education/health teacher for over 30 years in Glastonbury, Rocky Hill and East Hampton. He was also a coach in Southington, Windsor, New Britain, East Hampton and Glastonbury.
McCabe, 55, is survived by his four children.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be sent to the Thomas J. McCabe Children's Education Fund, c/o Liberty Bank 1169 Farmington Ave., Berlin, CT 06037.
