Jan. 14

A 17-year-old juvenile and Nasim Ahmad, 56, of 9 Barbara Ave., East Hampton, were involved in a two-car motor vehicle accident at the intersection of North Main Street and Barbara Avenue. The 17-year-old was issued a written warning for failure to drive a reasonable distance apart.

Bruce O’Connor, 47, of 28 Cobalt Road, East Hampton, and Elizabeth Alessandro, 35, of 95 Jones Hollow Road, Marlborough, were involved in a minor two-car motor vehicle accident in the area of East High Street. O’Connor was issued a written warning for following too close.

David Jurek, 26, of 100 Sunbright Drive, Meriden, and Victoria Bernier, 26, of 21 Jolin Lane, Colchester, were involved in a two-car motor vehicle accident at the intersection of Route 66 and Main Street. Jurek was issued a written warning for making an illegal left turn.

Paul Distefano, 49, of 64 W. High St., East Hampton, was issued a ticket for unsafe passing.

Jan. 20

Bonnie Rau,  34, of 25 Midwood Farm Road, East Hampton, and Sven Ramklint, 74, of 37 Clark Hill Road, East Hampton, were involved in a two-car motor vehicle accident at the intersection of Main St. and Summit. Rau was issued a written warning for following too close.

Jan. 23

Jessica Ann Raspardo, 25. of 119 W. Main St., Plantsville, was arrested for sixth-degree larceny.

Jan. 20

Paul Harvey, 61, of 85 North Main Street, was involved in a one-car motor vehicle accident on Route 16. Harvey was issued a written warning for traveling too fast for conditions.

Jan. 19

Timothy Evans, 26, of 130 Bujah Road, Chaplin, and Jason Bogdan, 23, of 108 Meeting House Road, Haddam, were involved in a two-car motor vehicle accident at the intersection of Route 66 and Main Street. Evans was issued a written warning for unsafe backing.

Jan. 23

Rachel Hayes, 19, of 11 O’Neill Lane, East Hampton, was involved in a one-car motor vehicle collision on Route 66. Hayes was issued a written warning for traveling too fast for conditions.

Jan. 24

A 14-year-old juvenile of East Hampton was issued a summons for disorderly conduct.

Jan. 31

Brennan M. Gibbons, 19, of 242 East High St., East Hampton was arrested for first-degree failure to appear.

Portland

Jan. 19

Colin Kilpatrick, 29, 16 Middle Haddam Road, Portland, was arrested for second-degree failure to appear.

Jan. 25

Ronald Pettit, 42, unknown address, was arrested for first-degree larceny, third-degree burglary and third-degree criminal mischief.

Jan. 27

Robin Paquette, 38, 1113 Portland Cobalt Road, Portland, was arrested for failure to drive in proper lane, misuse of plates, operating an unregistered car and insufficient insurance.

Jan. 28

Pablo Figuero, 33, 29 Woodruff Court, New Britain, was arrested for second-degree forgery, illegally obtaining prescriptions and obtaining a controlled substance by forgery.

 

Middletown

Jan. 16

Richard P. Smazer, 45, of Main Street, Portland, was arrested by Middletown Police for narcotics not kept in original container, non-student possessing drug paraphernalia near school operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license and operating an unregistered motor vehicle.

Jan. 24

Joshua Hurley, 22, of Navajo Trail, East Hampton, was arrested by Middletown Police for sixth-degree larceny.
