East Hampton Police Searching for Suspect

East Hampton Police areasking for your help in identifying a suspect in connection with the theft of power equipment.

Police are investigating three separate incidences of theft of power equipment that have occurred during May and June.

The most recent event involves the theft of a Poulan XT riding lawn mower, (Model PXT175G42 / Color Red), police said.

According to police, The theft occurred on June 6 at about 8:46 p.m. The white male suspect appeared to be about 5 feet 8 to 6 foot. He had a shaved head and carried some extra weight around his midsection. He also appeared to have tattoos on his right forearm. He was wearing a black T-shirt with green and white lettering on it, jeans and work boots.

The theft was captured on video surveillance.
