East Hampton Police to Take Back Unwanted Drugs

Residents encouraged to surrender any pharmaceutical substances to the police department during its Take-Back Initiative scheduled for Sept. 29.

The East Hampton Police Department and Local Prevention Committee will be participating with the Drug Enforcement Agency, (DEA) in a nationwide Take-Back Initiative of pharmaceutical substances and other medications on Saturday, Sept. 29. 

This national initiative will provide the public an opportunity to surrender pharmaceutical substances and other medications to law enforcement for destruction.

The drop off location will be in the upper parking lot of the East Hampton Town Hall, 20 East High Street, East Hampton from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. The drop off medications can be made anonymously with no questions asked.
