East Hampton Teen a Victim of Hit and Run at Hammonasset
19-year-old transported to hospital with minor injuries; DEP Police investigating.
A 19-year old East Hampton man was struck by a motor vehicle on Beach Road at Hammonasset Beach State Park in Madison, in what appears to be a hit-and-run accident, according to a state Department of Environental Protection (DEP) spokesman.
The victim was transported to Yale New Haven Hospital by Guilford Fire with minor injuries. The DEP State Environmental Conservation Police are investigating.
