East Hampton Police said earlier Monday that Oscar Wojtanowski was one of several people considered a person of interest in the death of Jaclyn Fitzgerald.

Wojtanowski, 22, was Fitzgerald's ex-boyfriend.

State police are investigating whether Wojtanowski is the one who committed suicide Sunday by jumping off a parking garage at the Mohegan Sun Casino.

The death of Fitzgerald was ruled a homicide over the weekend. Fitzgerald, 24, was found deceased in her home on 30 Namonee Trail in East Hampton on Friday.

On Friday morning, Danielle Pagano, the sister of Fitzgerald, wrote on Wojtanowski's Facebook page,"Where the [expletive] is my sister!"

Police from East Hampton and Newington joined a state police crime squad on Saturday for an investigation at an apartment complex in Newington said to be that of Wojtanowski. Police also seized his car, according to The Hartford Courant
