East Hampton

Aug. 29

Danette Rivers, 44, of 50 Old West High St., East Hampton, and John McGuire, III,33, of 62 West High St., East Hampton, were involved in a two-car collision at the intersection of East High Street and the entrance to Stop & Shop. Rivers was issued a summons for failure to maintain insurance and a written warning for failure to grant right of way.

Catherine Slack, 61, of 35 White Birch Road, East Hampton, was issued a ticket for using a cell phone while operating a motor vehicle, distracted driving and disobeying an Officer’s signal.

Melanie Talbot, 41, of 207 George St., Middletown, and Robert Talbot, 44, of 3 Nutmeg Lane, East Hampton, were involved in a two-car minor motor vehicle collision at the intersection of Spice Hill Drive and Tarragon Drive. Melanie Talbot was issued a ticket for failure to travel a reasonable distance apart.

Sept. 2

Samantha Chapman, 24, of 172 Sheepskin Hollow, East Haddam, and John Wright, 65, of 9 Crestwood Drive, East Hampton, were involved in a two-car motor vehicle accident at the intersection of Skinner Street and Main. Chapman was issued a written warning for failure to drive a reasonable distance apart.

Sept. 3

Luis Alberto, 53, of 2037 Route 1, Clinton, was arrested for disorderly conduct.

A 16-year-old juvenile of East Hampton was issued a ticket for operating an unregistered motor vehicle.

Peter Rand, 55, of 77 Breezy Corner Road, Portland, and Deborah Bedrick, 60, of 85 N. Main St., East Hampton, were involved in a two-car motor vehicle accident in the parking lot of DaVinci’s Pizza in Cobalt Center. Rand was issued a written warning for unsafe backing.

Sept. 4

Paul Wheeler, 20, of 18 Olympic Ave., Stafford, was involved in a minor motor vehicle accident involving a parked car on West High St., near St. Patrick’s Church. Wheeler was issued a written warning for unsafe backing.

Sept. 5

Michael Jensen, 28, of 112 Mountain View Road, East Hampton, was issued a ticket for failure to renew registration.

Sept. 8

Joshua J. Saglio, 22, of 62 Lafayette Road, Marlborough, was arrested for Larceny in the 3rd degree and conspiracy to commit same.

Wesley Jenks, 31, of 33 Meeks Point Road, East Hampton, and Matthew McNaughton, 53, of 319 Mark Drive, Coventry, were involved in a two-car motor vehicle accident on Meeks Point Road.  Jenks was issued a written warning for unsafe backing.

Portland

Aug. 31

Jennifer M. Kordys, 25, of Redberry Lane, Portland, was driving on Spring Street in Middletown without wearing a seatbelt and subsequently charged with operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license.

Sept. 6

Mark Vereen, 44, of Freestone Avenue, Portland, was processed on outstanding warrants of three counts second-degree failure to appear.
