Police blotter for week of Oct. 7.

East Hampton

Sept. 24

Daniel J. Sullivan, 31, of 33 Langdon Court, Berlin, and Mario Simoni, 56, 199 White Birch Road, East Hampton, were involved in a two-car motor vehicle accident on West High Street, (Route 66). Sullivan was arrested for driving under the influence and following too close.

Sept. 27

David R. Jensen, Jr. of 31 Old Skinner St., East Hampton, was issued a summons for reckless driving, operating an unregistered vehicle and towing an unregistered and uninsured trailer after the boom of his utility bucket truck made contact with and detached utility wires from two SNET poles.

Sept. 29

Thomas Robbins, 74, of 53 Lafayette Road, Marlborough, was involved in a one-car accident at the intersection of Mott Hill and Brewer Road. Robbins was arrested for evading responsibility, operating a motor vehicle too fast for conditions and operating a motor vehicle without a license.

Sept. 30

Alison Daley, 41, of 25 Flanders Road, East Hampton, was issued a written warning for traveling unreasonably fast.

Oct. 1

Kevin Murphy, 34, of 39 Sky Hill Drive, Wolcott, was issued a written warning for following too close.

Oct. 5

Henry Morehouse, 45, of 64 Main St., East Hampton, was issued a summons for harassment in the second degree.

Michael Gustav Birner, 47, of 9 Redstone Drive, Simsbury, was arrested for criminal impersonation, interfering with a police officer/investigation, illegal operation of a motor vehicle with a suspended license and traveling unreasonably fast.

Oct. 6

Benjamin A. Lundgren, 23, of 78 Branford St., Manchester, was arrested for third degree larceny and fraudulent use of an ATM machine.

Sept. 19

Bryan Wilson, 19, of Tuccitto Road, Portland, was stopped while driving on Hartford Avenue in Middletown for an expired registration. Wilson was charged with operating an unregi9stered motor vehicle, improper use of marker plate and insurance fails minimum.

Sept. 28

Katie E. Pitts, 24, of Glastonbury Turnpike, Portland, was stopped at Prospect and Erin streets in Middletown and found with outstanding warrants. Pitts was charged with non-student possessing drug paraphernalia near school, narcotics not kept in original container, operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license and insurance fails minimum.

Sept. 30

Kevin J. Murano, 30, of Riverside Street, Portland, was driving a motorcycle on Wetmore Place in Middletown with an expired registration sticker. Murano said it wasn’t registered or insured but was just picking up his prescription at Lens Crafters. Murano was charged with improper use of a marker plate and insurance fails minimum.
