License Plate Problem Leads to Arrest of Portland Man on Multiple Charges

Police said a 22-year-old local was wanted on several failure to appear charges.

What started as a missing license plate issue ended in an arrest of a 22-year-old Portland man wanted on multiple failure to appear charges.

The Middletown Press reported that Andreas Curcio Guliani was driving in Middletown when police noticed his green Honda lacked a front license plate. When the officers ran the back license plate identification in their system they found no information, meaning a misuse of plates, The Press reported.

Guliani was eventually tracked down and taken into custody.

Online court records showed he was wanted for a failure to appear in court on five separate counts. Guliani has several pending cases connected to those failure charges, including motor vehicle violations, permitting a minor to possess alcohol and a first-degree violation of probation charge.
